On 10 June 2024, the student council organized the MUHS Foundation Day celebration. The event commemorated the establishment of the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) and was marked by various activities and speeches. The ceremony commenced with the playing of the MUHS Anthem, which set a tone of pride and reverence for the university’s legacy. The anthem highlighted the institution’s commitment to excellence in health sciences education and its role in shaping future healthcare professionals. Second-year students delivered speeches that reflected their experiences and growth at MUHS. They spoke about the comprehensive education and training they have received, the opportunities for research and development, and the supportive learning environment fostered by the university. The students expressed their gratitude towards the faculty and administration for their continuous guidance and support. The Dean spoke about the university’s journey since its inception, its achievements, and its vision for the future and emphasized the importance of dedication, innovation, and ethical practices in the field of health sciences. The event not only celebrated the university’s past achievements but also motivated students and faculty to work towards a brighter and healthier future.
